Research purpose
SOFIA supports academic and practical research on feminine entrepreneurship, investment, and governance. Conversations and reports are used to generate insight for participants and, with consent, to grow a shared knowledge base.
Consent first
Share Your Wisdom interviews begin only after consent. Knowledge-base use and model-improvement opt-ins are separate choices. You can withdraw future consent; published reports follow the approvals you and administrators have already given.
Human Context Protocol
SOFIA's identity and context layer is designed in the spirit of the Human Context Protocol (Shah et al., 2025): you own what SOFIA knows about you. Personal notes live in your private vault, separate from the shared research knowledge base. Personalisation happens by injecting your consented context at inference time, never by training or fine-tuning models on your conversations. Anthropic API traffic is not used to train foundation models. SOFIA never silently learns something; every captured note is attributable to a conversation, visible on You, and editable or deletable by you.
How your context is used
When you chat in your SOFIA space, Talk may draw on vault entries you have granted for personalisation, plus anonymised feminine-wisdom excerpts from the knowledge base when relevant. Wellbeing notes stay out of research corpus and partner sharing unless you explicitly opt in. Activity on You shows when context was used and why, in plain language. Anonymous use remains possible; an account saves your space across devices via email magic link, it is not a toll for first use.
What stays private
Talk to SOFIA and community conversations are not added to the SOFIA knowledge base. Research interviews contribute only where you explicitly allow anonymised insight or public library publication.
Responsible AI use
SOFIA uses third-party AI systems to power voice conversations and report writing. Outputs are assistive: participants should review narratives before relying on them or sharing them externally.
